WOMP Film World Premiere Party Recap
We're still buzzing from the WOMP World Premiere Party on July 8th at Rising Co. in Oceanside. Our community came together, celebrated, and made a real difference. And guess what? We couldn't have done it without you!
Emily Afton set the mood with her tunes, followed by a DJ who kept us grooving. Meanwhile, you all were exploring pop-ups from Zilly Hair Co, Kateboards, Jolyn Clothing, and our very own CTF Shop.
And let's talk about the food and drinks! Saucey Mouths Pizza and Just Bananas ice cream kept our bellies happy, while Sierra Nevada, Solento Tequila, Juneshine, Bambucha, and Liquid Death made sure no one went thirsty.
Then came the raffle - and wow, did you all get into it! We had prizes from so many amazing brands, and the excitement was off the charts. Big thanks to all the brands that chipped in!
After the raffle, we huddled up for the WOMP Film Screening. Seeing your reactions and feeling the energy? Priceless. And the inspiring words from our film Film Director Hannah Walsh, Gretchen Sherrill, the creator of the WOMP curriculum, and Brittney Ellers our Menstrual Heatlh educator after the screening? Just what we needed to keep the momentum going. They reminded us why we're here: to empower, to protect our planet, and to make waves!
And let's not forget our rockstar volunteers and mentors who made the night possible. You guys are the real MVPs!
The best part? Together, we raised over $4,000! So, a massive thank you to everyone who showed up and made the night a blast. Your support fuels us, and we can't wait to see what we can achieve together. Ready for more nights like this? Stay tuned, because we're just getting started!
