Seaster Stories Film Night: Community, Sisterhood, and Empowerment
Seaster Stories Women’s Film Night brought together more than 300 people for an evening of community, sisterhood, and empowerment. Curated by Changing Tides Foundation, the program highlighted films about women reclaiming narratives and breaking boundaries through surfing and storytelling. From Ghana to El Salvador to the Pacific Islands, each story celebrated resilience, creativity, and connection. The night also marked the premiere of Marea, our short film following Sindy Portillo, Andrea Magaña, and Suri Barrera in El Salvador as they carve new paths for girls in surfing, skating, and art. Guests left feeling inspired, seen, and connected — proof of what happens when women gather to share stories and lift one another up.
